Monday, December 2, 2013. I'm not quite sure where to begin this story. Rowan's birth was much like her pregnancy: Very FAST, and I spent much of the first stretch not even knowing it was happening! Due to some thyroid and other (since resolved) health issues I was having at the beginning of the year, we did not even know that I was pregnant until I was 13 weeks along.you can imagine the surprise! But what a blessing to discover that some of my symptoms could be attributed to an undiagnosed pregnancy!

I sent Kyle a text to let him know and I do believe his exact reply was "Woot woot! Clearly this wasn't his first rodeo. Was the one holding up labor from progressing. Was I? Around 9pm Jeanne asked if she could check me to see how things were progressing and I was shocked to learn I was a complete 10. I didn't feel 10 cm dilated at all!

Monday, December 15, 2008. One more post and then bed. This was on my useless knowledge widget thing at the bottom of my blog. I just found it really sweet. Coyotes are extremely loyal to their mates. If one is caught in a trap, the other will bring small game for it to eat; it will soak itself in a river to allow its thirsty mate to chew on its damp fur for water.
