It turns out that this novel is historical fiction and combines the stories of Ann Eliza Young (Brigham Young's 19th or 55-56th wife, depending on how you do the math) and the completely fictional story of a murder set in a modern-day polygamous community. I was pleasantly surprised because the modern day story is told from the point of view of a lost boy. Its a very good book. Tells a needed story. August 7, 2012 at 2:38 PM. August 7, 2013 at 8:44 AM.
