I'm just a girl who loves fashion. Written by Elle Boudoir. Out and About Celebs. Thursday, 2 May 2013. FASHFEST - DAY 2. CANBERRA'S SECOND NIGHT OF FASHFEST KICKED OFF IN FASHIONABLE STYLE LAST NIGHT, WITH CANBERRA'S MOST DIVINE SOLD OUT CROWD WITNESSING THE EVENT. WHILE I MISSED OUT ON THE FIRST NIGHT (OH HOW I WISH I SAW ROCKSTARS and ROYALTY), THERE WAS PLENTY TO OFFER (FREE CANDY) ON DAY 2. CROPPED JACKETS AND 1930'S SHAPES GIVES A NOSTALGIC FEEL TO ANDIE MEREDITH'S COLECTION. ELEGANT AND MOODY ...

top notch: May 2014

The inside out cocoon cardigan. It's a little bit embarrassing to admit that for the second week in a row, I've. Been inspired by the Project Sewn outfit by Groovy Baby and Mama. This week it is the Burda Cocoon Cardigan. I bought and taped up the pattern on Thursday and on Friday raced off and bought 2 metres of the fabric in my lunch hour, only to find from the lovely ladies at A2F that my assumption of what was the right and wrong sides was completely wrong. Never mind, I prefer the wrong side. I took...

Eucalyptus and Honey: October 2011
http://eucalyptushoney.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Then this gem was brought to my attention courtesy another (anti)sign enthusiast. It's a map of a park placed within a park. Not that unusual, only you can actually see the whole park spread out in front of you. You can see the entry points and the various amenities just by looking fifty metres ahead. It is something both melancholic and maybe a little existential but mostly it is ludicrous. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. There was an error in this gadget. Eucalyptus and Honey: The Useful Daughter
http://eucalyptushoney.blogspot.com/2012/07/useful-daughter.html
My sixteen year old daughter is not so great at chores but makes up for it in other ways. A few weeks ago I asked her if she would try and make a book trailer for me ( The Colour of Trouble). I really had no idea what she'd come up with. She took off around town with a camera and a couple of friends, enlisted a local band she knows and then presented this to me last night. Super Cute. Eucalyptus and Honey: Teach your daughters how to catch a ball...and carve
http://eucalyptushoney.blogspot.com/2011/11/teach-your-daughters-how-to-catch.html
Teach your daughters how to catch a ball.and carve. When I was a kid my parents made sure I could catch and throw a ball. It was a priority in our family and very handy for gross motor skills. It was also useful when I started playing cricket with the boys and could successfully get a few wickets. Very important. I was always a little ashamed of those girls trying desperately to grapple with a ball and it was with great pleasure that I heard Prof. David Lubans. November 30, 2011 at 2:16 PM. Kurungabaa: a...

Eucalyptus and Honey: June 2011
http://eucalyptushoney.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
The Story from Behind. I did think twice about posting this.but not for long. Regardless of any dinner table storytelling rights held by my friend Thurgate, I realised I had the best view in the house and was therefore entitled to tell it. However, he happened to take his eye off things for a few seconds and then it was all Mongrel Dog and "Sorry Mate" and "Oh My God did that really happen? Things," he said looking out the window after a bit of a silence (he talks in italics). "Of all. And every now and ...

Designs in the Inbox. I have a cover! I've neglected you. It has been a crazy old time what with going on Safari and all. Unfortunately I did not get to hang out with the flamingoes who were inconveniently on the other side of the Lake when I happened upon them (snort). But I did fall in love with one or two warthogs. LOVE I tell you you. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Designs in the Inbox. There was an error in this gadget. Making Friends With The Neighbours. Bean there, read that.
