It's a week after surgery so time to take off the waterproof dressing and it doesn't look all that bad, with a big row of staples but healthy looking tissue (if chopping your leg up was ever healthy) and lots of awful bruising. Wednesday the blood work looked to be coming back to normal, only to shoot up into the no-gozone Thursday. Oh well, try something else. Nice day for Ted to go out so I got his shorts on him and it was sunny and warm enough from car to clinic and back. This weekend 23cm of rain forecast so no more short just yet I think. Saturday, June 13, 2009. I survived the first of five! My body has taken so much abuse in a short amount of time and I keep hoping that I can survive it. Some days I don't feel like I can. Other days I am more optimistic. Some good news, I did find out that the tumor is shrinking, but I don't know by how much. Good news is good news nonetheless. I hope that they can eradicate it like they are hoping they can do. More surgeries is not what I want for my birthday! A Force of Nature. A Force of Nature.
