Candy, social change and maps of taste around the world. How and when is candy consumed? What is the most popular flavour of candy in each country? Where and how is candy sold? As children, which candy left a mark on you for life? There are endless questions to ask about this often demonized food, and until now, no rigorous sociological research has been done on candy. We are convinced that much is to be learned in the process of exploring an element that is a both powerful and very common.
