So I Don't Forget. My Holiday Bucket List. November 18, 2013. In an attempt to get the most possible joy out of the holiday season this year I’m going to do a bucket list (inspired by a fun blog I read). And I say “holiday” because I want it to include Thanksgiving and Christmas – not because I’m politically correct or anything. Here’s my list, in no particular order:. Make our annual Griswold Family Christmas Tree trip (this is already scheduled). Make some homemade gifts. Slow down and enjoy the season.

So I Don't Forget. Freezer Cooking: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. August 4, 2014. The Bad and The Ugly. Apparently I’m either not very organized or just did too much. Every time we do freezer cooking I swear I’ll never do it again. The task is so overwhelming: the planning, the shopping, the prepping, the cooking and the cleanup. My feet and back hurt…still and it’s been 3 days. And I don’t care if I ever see a zip lock baggie or baking dish again in my life. 10 hours on Friday night. Jalapeno Popper C...

Oh and here is a rarely seen photo of my little family from the wedding this weekend. The Girl...

that's mellifluous!: March 2012
http://thatsmellifluous.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 19, 2012. I keep seeing this pinned on Pinterest and it just looked so tasty. Inspired by this pin. Here's my take on it. Cut a grapefruit in half. Next time I may prep it like I would eat a regular grapefruit so it's a little less messy to eat). There are different ideas of what tastes good on this broiled grapefruit. I suppose you could put whatever you like on it. I chose a little butter, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice (which is nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, and allspice). Punch 2 holes ...
