Buccaneer Harbour: November 2006
http://buccaneerharbour.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
News and Opinion on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 2008 Bucs' Schedule: PNG. Monday, November 27, 2006. Late Season Review (It's Long! Let me break down each of the three main areas of the team individually, as they clearly must be treated as such. On offense the Bucs appear to have finally built up some talent on the offensive line, assuming Buenning, who has now been placed on IR, will be back to full strength next season. The only really weak area is at Center. Or will Simms be back? So, to close this leng...

Best Bucs Blog: Brian Kelly Doesn't Like Money
http://bestbucsblog.blogspot.com/2008/01/brian-kelly-doesnt-like-money.html
Brian Kelly Doesn't Like Money. Brian Kelly has made the odd decision to buyout the last year of his $3.2 million contract. And test the free agency waters. Considering Kelly is 32 and has missed 20 games over the past two years because of injury I doubt he will get the big payday he hopes for. Kelly's best chance is to go for a multi-year contract with a decent signing bonus. From China means margins you cannot find elsewhere and buy products wholesale. The Meat Market Is Open. Going into the combine partially reflect this backwards logic (although critics could argue I'm putting the cart before the horse here). Mike Mayock is the latest hotness in NFL Draft "experts" and in his rankings not only does he have Sedric Ellis. Ranked ahead of Glenn Dorsey. But he has Rashard Mendenhall. Ranked over Darren McFadden. As BucStats has pointed out. Or a defensive lineman (Ellis, Dorsey, or Chris Long. As lineman typically make the most immediate impact on a team.

I know it is blasphemy to talk about the Rays while we're in the middle of the Bucs season but forgive me for the transgression, I feel like the recent developments finally make the Rays worthy of NFL midseason discussion. For ten years I’ve been looking for reasons to get excited about the Rays and until the last few weeks the closest the Rays have come to raising my expectations was the ill-fated Hit Show. The biggest complaint about the stadium (at least based on comments left on the Times article.

I am the absentee slumlord of this site. My apologies for my absence over the past two months but applying to grad school/work responsibilities have kept me occupied. There is simply not enough time in the day to devote to this crumbling, roach infested excuse for a blog. Let's get to the most important news first, for the first time in a long time I liked the Bucs draft. As I mentioned at the Sticks. By Football Outsiders but ranked only 18th. To the draft is "meh." Which I believe is the same sound...

And Now A Break From Your Regularly Scheduled Programming. If there's one thing I enjoy more than the NFL it's college football, although that might have more to do with my rooting interests (Gators and Bucs) lately. The NCAA has an overwhelming rootability (might not be a real word). University of South Florida. And for what it's worth I will have recap of last nite's game later, much later, like tomorrow. News and Opinion on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 2008 Bucs' Schedule: PNG. Saturday, January 20, 2007. Bucs Finish Up Coaching Staff. For Now. Both coaches bring strong coaching skills and experience to these positions. Both coaches are well regarded and proven in the NFL. We should see some solid development form the Defensive Line, and we'll see if Alex Smith develops more under Casullo than he did under Middleton. Posted by Richard P @ 5:27 PM. News and Opinion on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 2008 Bucs' Schedule: PNG. Friday, February 23, 2007. Bucs Lose Coin Flip - Hardy To Coach. Well, the Bucs lost the coin flip to the Browns, and they now pick 4th overall. The bright side is they still may get who they want, and they will pick ahead of Cleveland in the 2nd round. Beyond that, it sucks. But we'll see what positions they address in the FA market and that should give a good gauge as to where they need to go in the draft. Sunday, February 18, 2007.
