I was in Ramsgate on a sunny day looking for views to draw. I walked out along the Harbour wall when the fishing boat in the picture below sailed in, followed by a flock of seagulls. Ashford Town Centre Middle Row

I have produced drawings of Ashford in the past, in my pencil series ‘ A Shade of Britain. So I thought I should add to them by drawing one in this series. Ashford is a market town that sits in the heart of Kent. It is rapidly growing in size with a developing town centre. These are the first pictures of Brighton to be drawn in this series. As yet we are not supplying any shops in this area but as more pictures are added we will be looking for outlets both for the pictures and the cards. Brighton is a typical English seaside town on the South Coast. There is much to see there; exploring the architecture, Palace Pier, the beach and The Lanes, as well as sampling the numerous cafés and the arts on offer, makes Brighton an extremely enjoyable place to spend your time.
