Sunday, June 30, 2013. Our Summer - Day 32. It was only a matter of time before I painted my own toenails ;) The girls love them - funny girls! We got the kids' Extreme Week (formerly VBS, because our church is way too extreme for "ordinary" VBS ;) ) shirts today at church. Here, the girls' t-shirts. They are on the orange team. The back of the shirts. I love these little footprints :). Jared's shirt. He's on the blue team. Then, this afternoon, the girls watched Jared play Minecraft. Our Summer - Day 31.

You can have the movie checked out for 7 days. So, you can watch it over and over for the week, if you want, or you can watch half one night and the rest the next night (that's us.we physically can't stay up late anymore - Ha! Thursday, June 24, 2010. How was your day? Every day, when I come home from work, I always ask the kids what they did that day. I go into it knowing what they did because I've received the update from Daddy when I called home during my lunch break or to let him know I was headed home. Thursday, October 14, 2010. This past weekend, I had a craving for chocolate cake. When I was a kid, I was in 4-H and one of the activities that I participated in was baking. I used to bake - from scratch- a lot when I was younger . well, honestly, right up until the time we had kids . OK, maybe not a lot but some! Since then, the only thing I've baked came from a box (not that the amazing , triple-chunk brownies Al makes are bad :) ). He had been eating the cake without taking the gum out of his mouth!
