Thursday, February 28, 2013. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Our First Home Project. We have been talking about putting hardwood floors in our house for a couple years. We decided to put our talk into action in January. So we enlisted a couple helpers. :). Our neighbor helped also. After all the carpet and tile were ripped up. Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Hudson and Anna Kate's classes along with 1st and 2nd grade had "Farm Days" at their school. We invited our friends Lee and Carolyn to come enjoy it with us. Their were 4 stations we rotated between. Hudson was our tour guide in his classroom reading us a story in the "barn" and showing us all the artwork and writing the kids had completed. Their were baby animals we learned about and got to hold at another station. I think the 1 week old goat was the favorite.

Last week we went with our close friends the Woods to the foothills where there is a waterfall. the snowmelt wasnt too strong and the kiddos got to get in the water. it was a perfect day! Monday, January 26, 2009. A Tasty Adult Treat. Spicy, Sweet Nuts. 1/4tsp. cayenne pepper. Mix the first five ingredients in a bowl and stir in the nuts. Spread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for five minutes at 325 degrees. Stir and bake for ten more minutes until sugar mixture is bubbly and amber in color. Quickly spoon out nuts on clean parchment paper carefully separating nuts with a spoon. Let cool and store in an airtight container for up to five days. Stir and serve over ice.
