A Work in Progress: Holy cow, she's at it again!
http://jenniferhasablog.blogspot.com/2010/08/holy-cow-shes-at-it-again.html
A Work in Progress. The title of my blog originally described my blog, but I guess I'll go ahead and keep it. I think it's pretty accurate for my life too. I'm a fantastic girl right smack dab in the middle of growing up, and fighting every minute of it. I love how teen drama-ish that sounds. Holy cow, she's at it again! I woke up at the crack of dawn today because my horribly needy cat won't shut her face. So, what else would I do other than attempt a broomstick bracelet. Birthday season. =).

Monday, June 24, 2013. Sewing Class: Ironing Board Cover. Never again will I have to grumble at the cutesy and boring offerings from Target in the ironing board cover department. Nope, I can make my own.with any fabric I want. This is my kind of floral and I really felt like this red color would not show burn marks as quickly. Fingers crossed I am right! Monday, November 19, 2012. My New Sewing Machine. After my sewing class was cancelled, several false starts, 2 machines missing parts, and one lesson on my cousin's machine, my so very gracious and thoughtful husband decided it was time to get the right tools for the job. He surprised me yesterday with my first sewing machine. Hallelujah! It's not even Christmas. It will be good times. OP. Thursday, November 8, 2012. Stripes, Chevrons, and a? What a treat that shop is! I highly recommend stopping in if y...

Tuesday, July 16, 2013. It's time to get this done. We haven't touched this room since our last roommate moved out, ummm, 4 or 5 years ago. Procrastination at its finest. So all of my yarn and fabric are waiting patiently in storage, while I make some room for them. And also clean and paint and hopefully decorate really cute. Hubble looked at me like I was crazy when I said that. Yes the room has to function, but who doesn't want a cool crafty space? Monday, July 1, 2013. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Day of the Dead Bunting. Just in time to celebrate with the dead. I have been putting off making this for years, but it was so quick to make. 3, maybe 4 hours to complete and I hook slowly. PATTERN HERE. And it is definitely one of the better skull patterns around. I didn't bother to block mine. I was too anxious to hang it up. There is a good chance it will stay up most of the year.maybe travel from room to room. Tuesday, October 16, 2012. I used Lucy's ripple pattern. The q...

Monday, February 25, 2013. Making gifts for newlyweds can sometimes be a challenge, especially if you are not close. I always strive to not inundate people with things they cannot use and hopefully they can enjoy them aesthetically. Nobody needs more junk. So after a couple visits to my cousin's wedding registries it seemed a set of coasters and decorative charger to coordinate with her kitchen and dining room would fit the bill. Thursday, September 20, 2012. Simple stitch. Right amount of scrub. Being auctioned at the Farmer's Formal Fundraiser for Earthdance. Thursday, September 13, 2012. I am counting this glass in the Jar Challenge because it inhabited the same cabinet and was begging to be modified. This is the perfect votive or tealight holder for the shorter days heading our way and couldn't be easier to make. Thursday, September 6, 2012. A Couple of Cowls. Add a twist for extra snuggles. Or go glam. I loved this yarn.

Tuesday, April 23, 2013. In my mind, you should always make your husband something ridiculous for Valentine's Day and then give it to him late. Even better if you use his old clothes as material. Then it's free too. Like this tutorial. He totally stuffed that bag with a sock. Monday, April 15, 2013. Friday, April 12, 2013. Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Magic and Moonshine's yarn cakes. I could have bought them all! Then again, I am a junkie. Now I know what to do with all my scraps. Tuesday, April 2, 2013.

the 8th child: Camping Blanket the First
http://theeighthchild.blogspot.com/2013/05/camping-blanket-first.html
Monday, May 20, 2013. Camping Blanket the First. This was a good morning. Warm, sunny, calm.so I took my not-so-secret project out to the porch with my coffee and basked. Just like a lizard, only not so scaly. But these yarns are perfect for the wear and tear that goes along with tent vacationing. At this point, I have doubled the size shown here. I have also gone through a lot of my yarn to set up colors for the rest of the blankets. I figure each of us needs one for wrapping up next to the fire.
