How come people say that Christians only choose to believe in God because they use this concept of "God" as a "crutch", something to fall back on when we can't deal with pain, or because we want to hope for something more? As if this didn't further prove the existence of God? Doesn't this show us HOW much we need him? He loves and comforts us among our deepest pains and our biggest fears, even when we don't deserve it.
