Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Hi Family and Friends,. I have survived treatment #4 but it has left me feeling weak with tingling in my fingers and toes. It is strange feeling however, it doesn’t hurt. I have been inside all weekend just trying to avoid the heat. Since I am severely anemic; they put me on iron pills and that also came with a side effect—constipation! I have been eating fruit of all kinds and trying to avoid that dose of Metamucil! I was fortunate enough to celebrate my 57. Treatment #3 Follow up.

Thursday, October 20, 2011. October 20, 2011. I’m sorry that it has been so long since I updated my blog but I have been a little busy. I have completed 5 ½ weeks of Radiation treatments. We were driving back and forth to Fresno everyday—87 miles! It is a relief not to have to do that anymore. Gas prices here range from 3.67 to 3.87 per gallon. At any rate, I survived the Radiation treatment but my breast looks a little “crispy”—actually a lot crispy. A coworker that is recovering from a hip replacement ...

I will have to take the treatments everyday for 5½ weeks; that’s 33 treatments. 33 use to be my favorite number.
