Saturday, January 16, 2016. I added a tiny button to the center front of one. Haven't decided if I want to add one to the other bag. The bags are personalized with cross-stitched initials and the names spelled out. In the one where the seam runs down the back it made it a little tricky when stitching in a line that happened to be centered in the design. I sometimes had to take two stitched to make it show up. But what should I use? But finally I got it right, and these are the results. My Old Dice Bag.

Sunday, January 4, 2015. So, what's a Biscornu? How do you do it? According to Wikipedia, it is pronounced " bee-ss-corn-uh. I thought that it would be like "bis" as in biscuit, "corn" as in corn, and the "u" as in you like biscuits and corn. Good enough. It comes from the French word that means ". Saturday, March 28, 2015. Pokemon Dice Bags 1. Pokemon Dice bags are fun to make! They're colorful, easy, and you can embellish them any way you like. They make great gifts! Here is one that I made for my son Sean for Christmas I used several patterns for the Beedrills and made a wrap-around picture. The bags range from about 5 1/2" wide and about 6" deep. The bags are good for holding card decks as well as gaming dice. I made this bag for my son Sean. Even Baby Beedrill wants to. Get in on the action!

The fox fold is made from two pieces of 5 1/2" squares of a reddish-brown colored origami paper and painted with acrylic paint. Saturday, January 16, 2016. But what should I use? But finally I got it right, and these are the results. I wanted a wrap-around pattern which meant that I would have to consider the embroidery stitching up the back seam. It seems to have worked pretty well. I used 7/16" red grosgrain ribbon for the ties. Still needed to get a little more red in there. The bag is lined with a bright yellow cotton that matches Pikachu. And here is the end result! I wore it on Saturday at Tewkesbury (*waves to PAnth*) It was jolly hot though, so I went out for the morning, armed with a bag of frozen brussel sprouts under my dress to keep me cool (Don’t knock it til you’ve treid it) and then retreated to my hotel room for a nap in the afternoon before sallying forth to the beer tent in the evening. One Englishwoman's work. I’m beginning to wonder if I should have had the central mounts (the ones with the big pink topazes in) gilded as well, but perhaps I’ll feel differently once I’ve made them shinier? I’s a bi of a toss up, to be honest. The topazes are quite translucent, so gilding the mounts would maybe make them look a bit orange, keeping them silver lets the pink stay pink. There is something about that blue and white enamel that just looks outrageously medeival though. Posted in princess crown.
