Further Up and Further In. Tuesday, November 23, 2010. I've told Zachary that when he was born I declared that he would be "the most kissed baby in the whole world" - and the kisses haven't stopped yet. So he told me recently that Nathan was going to be "the most hugged baby in the whole world" - which may become a reality since it seems like every time I turn around Zachary is hugging on Nathan. Saturday, August 8, 2015. While the children were having fun in Richmond. Brec and I flew to Houston on Friday morning to celebrate my Uncle Johnny's wedding. Pop-pop tried on a cowboy hat in one boot and hat shop we entered. Friday night the Carrigs were invited to attend the rehearsal dinner at an Italian restaurant. Grandmother and little Phil. The man of the hour! Uncle Johnny, Pop-pop and me. Brec and I at our dinner table. Next morning Pop-pop is ready for anything. Next up, summer in Raleigh begins.

Sunday, June 28, 2015. Friday afternoon brought us to the much-anticipated Halloween! We stopped after school at the park for a brief time before heading home to begin our festivities. Meghan's outfit was in full celebration of the day! Next up pumpkin carving. Somehow I got suckered into one big pumpkin and three babies. The little ones are not easy to carve! The kids had a brief stint helping me scoop out the innards before they were too grossed out and left the pleasure to me. Elsa, Rapunzel, and Anna.

Further Up and Further In. Friday, March 6, 2009. A Day at the Parks. Park #1: Kiddie Park for ages 2-5. Park #2: Kid Park ages 5-12. There were mostly middle school kids there, but that didn't stop Zachary and Daddy from climbing to the top of the rocket ship! He could pretty much do everything there. Swinging in the sunset. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. We were blessed to have Ben's parents with us for awhile to help us out around the house and give us a few extra hands with the kids. It was really special for us to introduce Drew to them as he will be the first to carry on the Porter name from our family. Since Ella is just beginning to expand her vocabulary Grandma was a bit hard for her to tackle. So during the course of the week somehow she came up with BaBa. And it stuck. I think it is quite cute. With her two grandkids.
