Happy Thought #1: My assistant at work told me that Baby Bird is more sophisticated than any other baby she has ever met because BB knows how to drink from a plastic water bottle. Which cancels out Sad Thought #1: Everyone else in the contesting world is too sophisticated for me! The friggin' food photography!

Went right up to the clerk and told him I was looking for "big girl underwear." He sort of stuttered, and it took me a couple of breaths before I realized that the toddler balancing on my hip wasn't really cluing him in too well. For her," I said.
