Emily's blog: October 2012

Sunday, October 14, 2012. Ty can do hard things. Making goals to pancake someone must grow one's confidence too, right? And I love that it's not specific as to whom he might pancake. He'll just take anyone at this point! He's all smiles these days. I think 8 is entirely too young! Now he's just throwing kids down. I couldn't be more thrilled. Yep, I'm that mom now. It's eat or be eaten on that football field. So, I'll cheer for him to eat. Wearing their pink spats for breast cancer awareness month.

Emily's blog: November 2012

Sunday, November 11, 2012. Before Kyle left for work Halloween morn he asked what spooky dinner plans I had? Jaden and Ty were rivals this year: a werewolf and vampire, while Reese kept it sweet and adorable as a pink owl. Reese and her friend, Chloe, as the cutest pink owls around. Reese and I made this costume. I don't make costumes but I couldn't turn this one down. It was very easy too. No sewing, just fabric glue. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Emily's blog: August 2012
http://kyleandemilyharris.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 31, 2012. 7th, 3rd and Pre-K (next week). Ty was first out the door. No butterflies or nervousness. He's as cool as a cucumber, that kid. Reese and Ty are pretty close. Ty adores Reese, like hold-her-hand-while-she-sleeps adores her. He is extra sweet and patient with her. She started missing him after day two of this business and decided she's ready to go back to school too. No need to keep my ears to the ground on this one. This boy can't help but spill the beans to me. I love it. Ty's b...

Emily's blog: June 2012

Saturday, June 30, 2012. Summer couldn't come soon enough for us. And I couldn't be more thrilled that it's here. I felt like we were in over our heads this past winter and spring with sports, mostly. But can I just tell you how much my kids loved the sports they were in. They had such a good time. Reese kept up with her very informal dance class. A very inexpensive activity that was low maintenance and so laid back. Ahh, those were the days . . . Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Family. I truly look forwar...

Thursday, May 10, 2012. I grant you access to our baptism weekend through a whole slew of pictures. Our poor, unsuspecting guests couldn't have know what they were up for on Saturday. Ty's baptism was perfectly sandwiched between a soccer game for Jaden and a baseball game for Ty. They were all great sports for running around Pearland with us to attend these back-to-back events. Saturday morning, the calm before the storm. What Reese does when she has Grandma Patsy's undivided attention. With the excepti...

Emily's blog: February 2012
http://kyleandemilyharris.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 21, 2012. We hopped in the car following Ty's flag football game for an uneventful ride to New Orleans. We arrived just in time to walk the lit up streets in search of an authentic Nawlin's dinner. We stopped off in a few shops along the way; I mean how can you pass up this guy beckoning you come in? I'm sensing a favorite . . . We jumped at the chance to ride around the square on this horse and buggy for a guided tour. This was our tour guide, Lorna. We decided to stroll around the squ...

Monday, September 9, 2013. Boston, New Hampshire, Rhode Island. Against the wishes of that sign in the pic, we are totally trespassing. But honestly, this property was just begging to be trespassed. It was a mad dash to get out of there. Plus the Confederates were coming.). Lobster in Rhode Island. Touring the historic Newport, RI mansions. They served as summer homes for the very wealthy from the 1800's - 1900's. We felt like we were walking through Downton Abbey. Fine dining in North Conway, NH.

Thursday, September 27, 2012. Reese, as of late and according to my iphone. Just the cutest sideways chocolaty smile you'll ever see. Reese asked me to take the step stool out of the bathroom because she can reach. See? The infamous 'All About Me' poster. My favorite: she wants to be a snack shack worker when she grows up. It makes sense. All the treats you could ever want are right at your finger tips. Monday, September 17, 2012. Happy Birthday, Sis! We can't quite grasp the fact that this girl is 12...

Wednesday, June 09, 2010. We've been to Arizona to see the cousins and Grandpa. Fun was had by all. Had a joint birthday for Hailey, Taylor and Caden. Not quite the rockin' party I was planning on, but they could have cared less. It's fun just to be with your cousins! Our little Taylor turned 4! I can hardly believe it. We partied all day at Disneyland, without Ellie (thank you Jenn! Let her eat all the junk she wanted. We later paid for it at 2 am with some "throw-ups". Still in love and had so much fun.
