Seriously I have about 6 quilts I have started that are somewhere around waiting for completion. The difference with this one is that I was making it for someone else. Saturday, August 24, 2013. Had a date with my man tonight. Out to the local pub for dinner for a great steak, mmmm, them to the local hall to see a one-woman show. Quite terrific. So nice seeing a show from Warrnambool do the rounds of the smaller satellite towns. We took full advantage and made a night of it. Yes yes. Loving the Instagram. Here are some other recent offerings of the snippets of our lives. Lucky loves licking the leftover froth from my skinny chai latte, funny boy! Someone loves his mum.

Monday, June 9, 2014. Run Forrest . DNS. So I had Run Forrest. We'd gotten as far as Camperdown, half an hour away, and the minute Mike hit the brakes there was a nasty grinding groaning sound. Now my brakes have been making a bit of a sound but nothing like this. Stopped the car, took off again and it was a horrible metallic sound. Thursday, January 30, 2014. A great afternoon for running. Can you just see by this pic why I looooooove doing my runs after work, along the beautiful Warrnambool foreshore, before I head inland to my very dry dusty little town. There is NO comparison! The sea is there, it smells fresh and beautiful. But today yes there were flies. Oh God! I snarfed one I swear it hit the back of my throat as it flew straight in my mouth, and all I could think of was I hope it hadn't just been in a rubbish bin, ewwwww!

Tuesday, May 6, 2014. I had my first bad blogging experience day before yesterday after all my years of blogging. My stepdaughter sent me a message to say that one of the photos from my blog was on a site on facebook that she happened to see. Huh? Since when did this become acceptable practice? I beg to differ. Thursday, July 18, 2013. Just what a girl needs. I'm still here, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, although my lack of blog posts may indicate otherwise. Just work, eat, exercise, sleep, oh and scrap.
