August 28, 2015. So I’ll be brutally honest, the 14th and 15th of July were not the most exciting. Of course, for me they were amazing simply because I was in Zimbabwe! But reading back over them now I’m struggling to see how they’ll be interesting to read but I will try my best! And at the end of the day, if I hadn’t have experienced these days I wouldn’t know what it’s really like to be a missionary in Africa! I didn’t take any photos on these days so here are some random ones! Then in the evening we h...

Just A Bit of Inspiration: September 2014
http://justabitofinspiration.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 7, 2014. What do you think of when you hear the word prayer? Do you think of it as a time of talking to your Father in Heaven or is it just a time of asking Him for things and it goes no further? Prayer is and also what an impact. It has on not only those around us but also in our lives? Faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. It really does avail much. By our interceding for our fellow br...

Posted by Kate Stevens. Asymp; Leave a comment. One of the things I love most about being a mother is discovering and utilizing my kids’ sweet spots. That same two year old wants her food cut a certain way and fed to her. I always oblige. My five year old wants her baby quilt neatly folded and laying on her left side and the fleece Elsa blanket wadded up on her right side before she sleeps. The precious 4 month old wants to bury her face deep into my arm when I rock her to sleep. All the music and singin...

Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Help me to see how beautiful You are. Today was my birthday. Somehow, randomly, I was on YouTube and I clicked on a sermon by Tim Keller, called 'Give Me Mine'. It is a sermon on The Prodigal's Son, but with a different and more in depth relation to the context of the parable, and it helped me understand things deeper. And I'm glad I heard it. I'm so glad I clicked the link to the sermon.

And Zimbabwe must be saved. July 20, 2015. So Sunday the 6th of July 2014 went something like this:. Church started at 9:45. Actually scratch that – Church was supposed to start at 9:45 but really it started at about quarter past. So I guess it’s good to now that my home Church isn’t the only one who has people strolling in half an hour late! It’s also become really clear, really quickly, how much more important family is here – which makes sense really I suppose: family is valued more when t...Once we g...

4 babies, 3 kombis, 2 dirty trainers and 1 wedding proposal. July 28, 2015. We went to Moses Basket which is a home for babies who have been abandoned or whose parent’s can’t look after them. The home is ran by a couple whose daughter I used to be pen pals with when I was about 8! I finally managed to get a photo of the flats and market – but not a very good one! And Zimbabwe must be saved. Middot; July 29, 2015. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). It's a...
