Friday, May 14, 2010. Wedding, Mother's Day, 15 Month Growth Pictures. Weddings are always fun. Getting dressed up, great family time, a little boozing, always fun stuff. Did I mention a little boozing? Two years ago, Kate and I had 10 weddings in one year. Isn’t that pretty ridiculous? We had to start a wedding fund in January for that year. Kate was also pregnant that year. That meant that Al had a designated driver for all those weddings. I think I still owe Kate for all those. Katy and I were married...

Enrique Family Blog: February 2010

Sunday, February 21, 2010. I've always wanted to do this. NBC5 News Chicago has a section in their morning news for First Birthdays. You can send a picture and they'll put is on the news. We have it on our DVR. I have to figure out how to get it on a disk so the girls can have it. In the meantime, I just took a picture of the TV. Month 12 Growth Pictures. Thanks to all who came out to celebrate the girls first birthday! Below are the girls getting ready to eat their "Tear Into" cakes. The three birthday ...

Enrique Family Blog: December 2009
http://enriquefamilyblog.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. Christmas is such a great holiday. No work, hopefully a lot of relaxing, and spending time with your family. This is the girls first Christmas. Kate and I were probably more excited than the girls were. Being 11 months old, I’m sure that they’ll look back at the pictures and have no recollection what-so-ever, but they’ll definitely see that they had an enjoyable time. We all did. Below are some pictures from Christmas Day at Joe and Rupals. Some Butternut Squash Ravioli.

Sunday, March 21, 2010. Month 13 Growth Pictures. I was thinking of how long that we're going to continue taking these monthly pictures. Maybe for another year, we'll see. You think it'll be embarrassing for the girls to be taking a month 60 growth picture? And here they go. Even bribing them with food doesn't work too well anymore. See Maybe Gold Fish would have worked better. This was pretty much the last picture of the day. Next week, we're all headed to Montana to visit our friends Kelly and Paul Con...

This photo was taken on Saturday after a pretty long day for the girls. They didn't quite get in their afternoon naps and they were both ready for a good dinner. Green beans and cereal were on the menu. Here's Leslie with Melanie. Here's Tina with Madison. I suppose his dad being about a foot taller than Al and I might explain that. :). Friday, July 17, 2009. Madison and Melanie's Baptism. On Sunday, July 12 Madison and Melanie were baptized at St. Patrick's Church in Wadsworth. This was the same church that Al and I were married in (we were married in the small chapel and the girls were baptized in the new church). The girls were two of five babies baptized and they were the only babies that didn't cry when the water was poured over their heads. They were such good little girls! Madison being blessed by Deacon Dave. The characters in f...
