Honest Ramblings: November 2006
http://honest-ramblings.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 26, 2006. Ok, here is the first update on my 4 week final rotation. I am currently working on a very busy surgical ward. Yesterday I had the opportunity to do what is called a patient follow thru. My patient was admitted to the floor on friday afternoon after falling 15 feet off the roof of his barn and breaking his femur (huge bone from your thigh to your knee) in three different places! That takes talent people! So thus far my rotation has been very fun and my instructor is great!

Times like what you ask? 1)I had an exam yesterday, I am sure I bombed it, and if you know me, you know I don't bomb exams. 2) I have an exam tomorrow, completely short answers.soooo many theories. Bring on the cramming! 3) A paper due on Monday that I have yet to start.hmm maybe I should have done that sooner! I absolutely love it!

Honest Ramblings: October 2006

Sunday, October 29, 2006. My boss likes to make bets. So far I have been smart enough to either decline to take part in his bets, or only accept if I know I cannot lose. Also, my boss likes to cheat, he will deny this, but he does! He said to me "I bet you that I can name at least 50 super heroes off the top of my head by the end of today! So the bet began. He was able to think of 20 right away.I was starting to get nervous! Within 30 minutes he had listed 62 freakin super heroes! Not going to happen!

Honest Ramblings: July 2006

Thursday, July 27, 2006. The history of my car. I was talking to a co-worker today who was complaining that had been hit in the Wal-Mart parking lot and he had a small ding in his car. He was frustrated with the dealings he was having with ICBC. He then asked me if I had ever had to deal with ICBC.Yes! So many freakin times. So I told him the history of my car. Call #1 to ICBC. 2) November 2002: My car was stolen, yes again, from the side road near my parents house while I was in bed sleeping off a horri...

The Latham Family: April 2010
http://alannalatham.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 01, 2010. April Fools Day is a good excuse to have some fun with the kids, especially Aidan who is old enough to appreciate some of the jokes. Unfortunately I forgot (again! Until a couple days before so I didn't have much time to prepare. Here's what I did:. Michael's suggestion was to melt some chocolate in a diaper and leave it on Aidan's bed. I thought that this was actually a pretty good idea, so I got a diaper from a friend (because Keira is done with diapers - YAY! I think they tur...

Moments Between...: December 2009
http://lisaparkin.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 18, 2009. We finally got our tree decorated! Those are the little things that bind a family together and are so precious that they are easy to take for granted. This Christmas, it is my commitment to myself to not take one small, precious moment for granted. but to savour each and every one. Monday, December 14, 2009. My Favorite Narnia Scene. If you can understand. Well, it came closer up to me and looked straight into my eyes. And I shut my eyes tight. But that wasn't any g...For I was...

http://ajwilgus.blogspot.com/2008/03/have-you-ever-noticed-how-some-of.html
Thursday, March 13, 2008. Have you ever noticed how some of the coolest adventures and best times of your life happen randomly? As in, if someone hadn't been spontaneous or creative (either yourself or someone else), you wouldn't have gone on to all those crazy places and have all the fond memories that you do (of course some of the trips took alot of planning.don't think I'm trying to take away from someone's hard work)? And without further adieu.some of the more amazing moments in my recent past:.
