I grabbed some scraps of ribbon, some scrapbooking paper, a wooden frame I had gotten from a craft store a year ago (.75) and some left over paint from Aislynn's room. I tore 4 round pieces of scrapbooking paper, (various sizes) and crinkled them up a bit to turn into a rosette. I did this all in Aislynn's roo...

Will Shoot 4 Food. Wednesday, July 20, 2011. It was a short trip, but it was a ridiculously fun one. Our flight didn't leave until later in the afternoon, so we still got to do more sightseeing. We did the Chicago River Architectural Boat Tour (it always makes me think of Vince Vaughn in The Break-Up) and then we drove around a bit and had some Chicago-style deep dish pizza. Part of the skyline. Rad. SNL skit, apparently? I don't watch it enough. I prefer the New York/thin crust-style over this.

We thought Becca was going joining up with her family Saturday, but ended up staying till Sunday. After church, we all went to lunch at Rafferty's (yummy food) - said goodbye to Becca - took naps, then went to say hi to MY dad (the best dad in the world - and not just saying that!
