The Cloistered Lamb

Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Magic in the High Desert. Later that day my professor took us over to the school's museum collection. As we stood in the large warehouse I found myself looking at Pueblo pottery. Rows and rows of pottery including the black on black designs so distinctive of the Santo Ildefonso Pueblo. It was there that I understood that I had to go. Indeed it is magic. Friday, June 19, 2015. I wish there was a way to tell this weaver that her tools are safe and in the hands of her tribe. The Cloistered Lamb: Commitment 2011

http://thecloisteredlamb.blogspot.com/2010/12/commitment-2011.html

Thursday, December 30, 2010. Most of my holiday projects were knit! Knitting has added so much to my life. Here is my personal intentions/commitments for myself. What do you plan to do? Complete the Loopy Ewe's First Quarter Challenge 2011. I've started cabled socks. If they don't work out I have back up projects. Knit something Fair Isle - what is Fair Isle - feast your eyes here. Do a project with mitered squares - what the heck is a mitered square. Take a photography class. December 31, 2010 at 2:42 PM.

The Cloistered Lamb: Chance Meetings

http://thecloisteredlamb.blogspot.com/2014/12/chance-meetings.html

Sunday, December 14, 2014. The fall semester is over. My house is cleaned, the refrigerator stocked with goodies for game night tonight, and my loom studio is reasonably straightened. All is good. Unless we talk about my dye studio, but we won't mention that beyond here. I have a lot of work to do over break. I'm putting together an application for a future endeavor, I have some pieces that need finishing, and a few personal projects that I'd like to get finished. Guess what else I'll be doing over break?

Listed at $36.99. Joann Fabrics sells a similar model for $79.99! Loom Storage and Note Strip. At The Container Store that is perfect. It is just the footprint I need to fit comfortably on top of the castle. I secured it to the loom with a mini bungee cord and it stays put with the vibration of the loom. Next I...The strip...

http://thecloisteredlamb.blogspot.com/2011/12/commitment-2012.html

Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Way back in December of 2010, I made a list of my 2011 commitments. To myself. I've gone back to look at them, assess where I am and where I want to be in 2012. Complete the Loopy Ewe's First Quarter Challenge 2011. Knit something Fair Isle. Clean, sort and GET RID of crap in basement, closets, etc. - Basement sewer back up took care of this one unfortunately. Continue to expand our network of healthy, supportive, awesome friends.
