Surreal story by Kesar, Zoe, Benny, Wolfie, Oliver, and Clementine:. Surreal poem by Smith, Benny, Oliver, Beatrice, Ava, Wolfie and Kesar:.

WINTER BREAK DRAWING AND DESIGN CAMP. We also discussed foreground, middle ground and background, and the idea of things in the distance getting smaller. The kids were then asked to copy an animal/landscape image while thinking of these ideas. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). WINTER BREAK DRAWING AND DESIGN CAMP. View my complete profile. Hot or cold, Time? Hot or cold, Ever? Cold, I think that's cold. Actually I think it's cold because it has some grey. Bianca: What do you think? I like Summer because you can go to the beach. [ To Rene. Wouldn't it be cool if we could go to the beach together? This is my hot side and this is my cold side. This is cold because it's blue and this is hot because it's red. These are hot [ points to pink pom-poms. And that is cold [ points to a blue piece of paper. Holds up a gold ribbon. This is hot right?

The things that happen when you're waiting for something else to happen. Friday, October 16, 2009. TGITFF.- Turkish Triple Onion Soup/ Türkçe Soğan Çorba. A few weeks ago, K and I were both feeling under the weather so I whipped up this soup. The amounts are catered to my love of garlic and onions as well as an estimation of what would fit in my smallish pot so feel free to add or substitute where you see fit. This recipe is very flexible. 1 bulb of garlic sarmısak. 3-4 white/yellow/red onions soğan.

The things that happen when you're waiting for something else to happen. Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Today i was mulling over how i got here. really, how did i end up in Turkey, twice? Because when i think about it, it all feels very random. And as i walk around my charming neighborhood, asking for bread in Turkish, fielding questions from shopkeepers and cab drivers and fruit sellers who speak enough english for their first question for me to be, "what are you doing in İstanbul. why are you here?

The things that happen when you're waiting for something else to happen. Sunday, November 9, 2008. I've been a terrible blogger of late. Life in Istanbul got very interesting (and very busy) about 3 weeks ago. What’s sad is I have all these half finished entries that just need photos or some specific fact checking. I vow to get back on track this week. So check back for new "old" entries! I will be caught up just in time to leave :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

The things that happen when you're waiting for something else to happen. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. A big f* *ing deal. And as an expat living in a country that has a terrific socialized health care system where hospital visits cost a mere $50 for work that would easily cost $300 in the states, all i can do is elatedly quote joe biden, "this is a big f* *ing deal." maybe now k and i can return home and get that much needed checkup we've holding out on for the last 5 years.
