What that means for our home is allergies (Heath), a chance to pick flowers from their stems (Zion), and babies learning about the world they live in and doing new tricks (Eden). Little Eden still hasn't broken a tooth yet, but you can just see them trying to break the surface of her gums. Her constantly runny nose and bulging gums hope they will hurry up and make an appearance! She is really starting to get around now. She is scootching everywhere now and making Zion laugh. I love how the two kids interact with each other. I hope they get along well. Look at those legs! Couldn't you just eat them with a spoon? And I love her toes. So chubby and kissable. And acting like it! And, yes, exercising his will. What sweet kids we have! What cute kids guys!

Sunday, December 14, 2008. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas . . . Our family was so excited to wake up to snow today! Annie was a holy terror because she did not want to sit still, but Syd had fun making crafts and eating all of the sweets they offered. That's about it around here. We're going to snuggle up and watch a movie tonight and hopefully it will be too snowy to head to work in the morning (but nice enough to head to Hood River to go on the Polar Express train ride in the evening)!

Monday, May 11, 2009. A few weeks ago, my friend Shayla and I packed up the car and kids and headed up to Seattle for a long weekend at her aunt and uncle's house. We had a great time taking the ferry to Bainbridge Island, exploring Pikes Place, and taking long baths and showers in her aunties amazing bathroom! I have a sneaking suspicion that Shayla may have changed her mind about having children of her own someday. Hopefully she'll come around again soon! A self portrait of Syd and I on the ferry.
