I am not a carpenter,. I am a cook". I have made decision! I have decided to go vegetarian. No I'm not being controlled my evil veggie monsters. I have made this choice all ony own. I realize many people will not be too happy about this. (Because of course there will be no further meat recipes). However I must also say I will no longer do full blow recipes (I.e. How many of us grew up with Sloppy Joes from a can? Don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed myself a Sloppy Joe made from a canned mix, but seeing as I’ve decided to start making more and more of my dinners ‘from scratch’, I decided to try out a recipe. I decided on Ellie Krieger’s Sloppy Joe recipe from her book. The Food You Crave. 1lb ground beef (or turkey). 4 cloves minced garlic. 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced (I left this out since I wanted to try feeding this to my 10 month old). 2 tbls tomato paste.
