My monthly payment on the cards total over $1400. I miss one payment and they jack the rate up to 29% and hit me with late and over-limit fees. I have been living off cards because I spend all of my money paying cards, it never ends! Here are my stats:. Credit Card A - Balance: $40,000 Payment: $800, Interest: 28%. That is more than my mortgage payment.
