A memoir of the Clegg family Coast House, on the Austinmer-Thirroul cliffs, shared by all of us, officially launched by Arthur C. Clegg on Sunday 22nd May, 2011. FIRST GLIMPSES OF THE COAST. As children, my sisters Anne and Lynne and I had spent the summer holidays with our Dad and Mum at Long Jetty. Then, at Christmas in 1955, Dad announced that we would be going somewhere else for summer – to Austinmer! I need not have worried. BUYING THE COAST HOUSE. Here my lifelong love of photography blossomed.
