No Pain, No Gain – Code Katas | Between The Code
https://betweenthecode.wordpress.com/2012/01/14/no-pain-no-gain-code-katas
Thoughts on coding and everything in between. No Pain, No Gain – Code Katas. On January 14, 2012. You just mi...

Things that go blink in the night. A blog for Tom Adams tech ramblings. Friday, April 3, 2015. Running Unit Tests When TFS Build Definition Output Location is AsConfigured. I only just recently noticed that no tests were running for a couple of build definitions whose Output location. Was set to AsConfigured. I have a good reason to have the build definition set this way, but that is beside the point. The point is that the regular pattern set in Test source spec. Test*dll;* *test*.appx.

Things that go blink in the night. A blog for Tom Adams tech ramblings. Monday, September 30, 2013. The 'minClientVersion' attribute is not declared. I ran into this problem trying to install a NuGet package, Fody. I couldn't find any solutions to this by searching online, so I thought I'd write a quick blog post about my solution. It's pretty easy which is probably why I couldn't find a solution. Solution: In Visual Studio click Tools- Extensions and Updates. Saturday, September 7, 2013.

Things that go blink in the night. A blog for Tom Adams tech ramblings. Monday, April 30, 2012. Linking Setup project versions to TeamCity build numbers. Following my previous goal of linking the version numbers ofour compiled files to the revision number of the SVN. I also wanted to link the installer project's version numbers so that every new build would automatically be treated as an upgrade to the previous build. That does just that. IF $(ConfigurationName) = Release (. IF EXIST "$(VersionVDProj)" (.

Things that go blink in the night: Resolving "No symbols have been loaded for this document" in web projects

Things that go blink in the night. A blog for Tom Adams tech ramblings. Thursday, February 5, 2015. Resolving "No symbols have been loaded for this document" in web projects. I've run into this problem a number of times probably due to my own hackery. I must have copied a project wrong or something. It turns out that not too infrequently I'll start to debug a web project and IIS Express will start to host it, but in fact it is hosting the wrong code in a completely different folder. Uploading myself, bit by bit…. June 16th, 2015. Just over a decade ago, I took the reigns on a Fedora package called. This theme was a very smooth and rounded (thank you, Cairo rendering) but otherwise faithful reproduction of the Bluecurve. And that is exactly what I did. That November, I ripped away every theme except for.

A blog about coding, learning, and really random stuff. (Even cooking). Objective-C vs Swift: A performance analysis. As an Objective-C programmer, I’ve been looking for solid reasons to switch to Swift (by the way I still haven’t). Personally, I really like the simplicity of the Swift’s syntax over Objective-C. But that wasn’t enough for me to be sold. So as Apple claims, it’s 40% faster than Objective-c, I wanted to run a performance test […]. March 5, 2017. About the coder guy. Do you like the content?
