More from Mary: We're Engaged!
http://morefrommary.blogspot.com/2014/10/were-engaged.html
Friday, October 24, 2014. If you're wondering where I've been or why I've been so silent the past several weeks, I have good reason. Things have been quite busy, but very good. Some people compare the auction to childbirth: 9 months of preparation all culminating in a quite intense and stressful event with an amazing result at the end. I see it as a really long marathon, in which you just can't wait to cross the finish line. Needless to say, it's exhausting. I gave him a strange look and responded, "I do...

More from Mary: Paradise Camping
http://morefrommary.blogspot.com/2014/08/paradise-camping.html
Friday, August 8, 2014. Last weekend, Chris and I joined in his family's annual camping trip at Paradise campgrounds near Bend, Central Oregon. We got there on Friday evening and his younger brother had already set up a tent for us - thanks, Eric! Despite an air mattress that deflated during the middle of the night both nights, it was actually a pretty comfortable camping setup. August 8, 2014 at 10:11 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). More from Mary: Deschutes Fishing
http://morefrommary.blogspot.com/2014/09/deschutes-fishing.html
Monday, September 29, 2014. This past weekend, Chris and I went on a fishing trip with his family. His dad, Dan, is an avid fisherman and he invited us to go out on the Deschutes with him to fish for some Steelhead. This was different fishing than I've even done, and I loved it! As it got dark, we all sat at the picnic table and played Apples to Apples by lantern light. You could hear the river rushing just about 50 yards away - so relaxing! More from Mary: 2015: A Year of Learning
http://morefrommary.blogspot.com/2015/07/2015-year-of-learning.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2015. 2015: A Year of Learning. It’s been quite a while since I last sat down to write out a blog post. And a lot has changed since then. In fact, I can hardly think of anything that was the same at the beginning of this year as it was at the beginning of last year. When 2015 rolled around, I heard someone mention a tradition, a New Year’s Resolution if you will, of having a word of the year. One word that would be a focus or a theme for that whole calendar year. When I decided on the...

Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Hood to Coast 2014. Last weekend was this year's Hood to Coast Relay, one of my favorite weekends of the year. This was my 6th year to run this race. My goal is to eventually have run each of the 12 legs in this relay, so I am now half way there! I was in Van 2 with 5 dudes: Drew, Jed, Robbie, Marty and Ben. Fun group, but always a little interesting being the only girl in a van with 5 smelly guys. Let's just say we all got to know each other pretty well. By the en...What a fu...

More from Mary: June 2014
http://morefrommary.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 9, 2014. I was able to spend a little over a week in Texas at the end of May, which was so wonderful since my Texas trips are usually whirlwind weekends. Having 9 days in Texas gave me the opportunity to spend good quality time with family and friends. Lots of time in the water! There was plenty to do including playing baseball, jumping on the trampoline, laying in the hammock, and ping pong. Tubing behind the boat. Happy birthday, Papa! Smores around the firepit. Our own fireworks show.

More from Mary: May 2014
http://morefrommary.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 23, 2014. Being 30,000 ft above the earth brings a fresh perspective that tends to get lost in the chaos of our everyday lives back on the ground. From up here everything down there seems so small and simple, so smooth and easy. The rivers seems more peaceful and less rapid, the mountains seem more glorious and less treacherous, and the motion of cars and humans seems more fluid and less hectic. What a radical difference, and what an overwhelming experience of the goodness of God. I’ve ...

The Lehman's: DC Day Date
http://amandatravislehman.blogspot.com/2011/03/dc-day-date.html
Sunday, March 20, 2011. Last weekend, Travis and I decided we could not go any longer without the Texas Mexican food we so dearly adore. The closest location for that happens to be 2 1/2 hours south in Washington D.C.we were desperate! There happens to be a Uncle Julio's just like the one we frequently visited in Fort Worth. This INSANE craving led us to plan a DC Day Date. Here are a few pictures from the museum. March 20, 2011 at 8:51 PM. What a fun date! Ill have some in your honor very soon!
