Thursday, February 24, 2011. We went to the new aquatic center in town. It was fun, we actually went first thing in the morning and then went back in the afternoon after the water slide opened. Brookie was so good. She loved the water. I should have gotten a picture of her in her swim suit. She's a little chubby. Burton before we went to preschool. Sunday, April 20, 2014. We loved being in our new house for Easter this year! So many new places where the Easter baskets could be hidden. The kids searched and found them first thing when they woke up. Then we had our Easter breakfast! Nice not having church til 1:00 on days like this. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. This girl turned 7 today! Then we had some cake. Dan saved the day by making and decorating this cake for her when he got home from work. Sunday, December 25, 2011. Brooke will steal any ornament she can get her hands on. As the days went by, the ornaments got higher and higher. Thanks aunt Megan for the Agent P slippers. Brookie with all the babies and stuffed animals she got for Christmas. She has officially kissed all of them. Brookie was just checking to see if Santa left her any goodies. Sunday, February 17, 2013. Our big boy turned six on Saturday. We had a super fun day. We had a birthday breakfast and then aunt Camille, Liss, and uncle Greg came over and we went to the Nickel Arcade. Then we came home had lunch, opened presents and had cake and ice cream. That night we went to the movies. It was a fun day! We love our Burton so much. He has such a big heart and is so appreciative of everything people do for him. Chris, Amelia, Burton and Brooke. Saturday, August 16, 2014. The Whiteheads left our house early Saturday morning, and we headed out too . . . . to spend a day at Folsom Lake with my family! John and Kristen live in Folsom, and it’s the perfect middle point for us and those coming up from Saratoga. It was just an easy 2 hour drive for us and we had such a great day. Saturday, July 19, 2014. Colorado Springs–Pikes Peak. Our Colorado Springs adventure for today was Pikes Peak! We had fun with this sign we saw along the way! Notice Chris, I mean Big Foot, back in the bushes! We stopped at Crystal Creek Reservoir before heading on up the mountain to have a picnic lunch. Not too far down was this little lookout point, which had the most amazing views. Dan went out and stood on that ledge, and I was pretty much freaking out. It looked so scary! Posted by Sarah Walton.

Monday, August 11, 2014. First Day of School. Can’t believe today is the first day of school! It’s always such an exciting day and these two are ready! Annie is in 4th grade this year and Leah is in 2nd. Can’t believe how old they are getting! We visited their classrooms and met their teachers. Leah has Mrs. Johnson this year for 2nd grade.
