Adventure is out there! Bis Bald, Salzburg! 8221; When it got closer to 45 and then 30 days left, my excitement about going home turned into anxiety about leaving. Next thing I knew, my countdown was in the single digits and today when I look at my homescreen, it informs me that I go home in exactly 1 day. Tomorrow. Photo by Davis Gerber ( omnipotencewithin.tumblr.com. And then of course there is Salzburg itself. My beautiful second home! 8221; I was skeptical. “Um, yes. Why? I’ll be back, Salzburg!

Let me begin by saying this: I’m a copy cat. A big, stinking, copy cat. And to this, you might respond, “But Maggie! 8221; and I would reply, head hung in shame, “Yes. Me.”. My nephews would not approve. I copied this recipe from Memaw Carol. A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I took a trip to the Forth Worth, TX area to visit his family. While we were there, we had a. Meal at Memaw and Papaw’s house. Afterwards, Memaw brought out the most beautiful banana pudding for dessert. Bis Bald, Salzburg!

T Minus 9 Days. Have you ever had to go onstage to sing, play piano, perform, etc? Or maybe you’re more familiar with the adrenaline rush that comes just before the big game? Imagine that feeling amplified approximately 25 times. That’s how I’m feeling about my upcoming semester to Salzburg, Austria. There are so many emotions associated with this trip. Salzburg, Austria (the red marker). See other stuff I’ve been doing lately. Bis Bald, Salzburg! Adventure is out there! I Didn’t Forget About You!

My Alpine Ski Adventure →. Turns out, keeping up a blog while studying abroad is much harder than I expected. The original plan was to blog 2-3 times a week relaying my daily life (it’s exciting, let me tell ya). After being here for a few weeks, I think the new goal is once a week. Hopefully that’s often enough to keep everyone up-to-date on my experiences but spread out enough to keep me sane🙂. Every time I turned around, there was another bridge or alley or canal that was perfectly picture-esque....

EASY STREET: Clean Up Monday
http://erickfam.blogspot.com/2015/07/clean-up-monday.html
Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway. Sunday, July 19, 2015. Tonight, the end of the basement furniture we had already sold was picked up. Now, it is time to start ripping out the carpet and sheet rock from our latest water leak. I know this will be a slow remodel, but at least it will be a start. Finally, I would like to revamp the utility room. Of course, I don't want to spend any money, so that always makes it more of a challenge. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 3rd Annivers...

Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway. Friday, May 22, 2015. 1st Day of Summer Vacation. And how did I spend it? Yes, I went to school. I completely vacated my old classroom. (Most of it had already been taken to the new room, but a few random items were left.) There are a few big furniture pieces for the custodians to move, but my room is ready for its new owner. ThenI'm really looking forward to some sum-sum-summertime! Photos sure to follow. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://erickfam.blogspot.com/2009/06/looking-back-anniversary.html
Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway. Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Looking Back- An Anniversary. Just a year ago this week, our family was lucky to spend time with family in Colorado. We had a wonderful time in beautiful surroundings. K and L had to put their flip flops in the snow drifts at the side of the road before we headed down the mountain and toward home. Storms remind me of just how small we are in comparison to nature. Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway. Friday, July 10, 2015. A short vacation, jury duty, a small family gathering to see Crazy Cousin Ree from Virginia, day care for the Little Miss, and L and E popping in for a visit- throw in a wedding on Sunday, and there is no time for blogging! EASY STREET: Summer Hike #6
http://erickfam.blogspot.com/2015/07/summer-hike-6.html
Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway. Friday, July 3, 2015. This morning's hike was not too far from the childhood farm. Three Tiny Town ladies and I enjoyed a beautiful, sometimes foggy and damp, hike. Oh, did I mention we had lunch at a wonderful restaurant in the area? Amazing. Also discovered Ciderboys Pineapple Hula, a drink I plan to find locally! So far this summer's hikes have included:. Favorite Nature Trail- twice (once the two mile loop, the other the four mile version).

Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway. Friday, July 17, 2015. Friday Favorites and Randoms. Water aerobics. Sometimes it kicks my buns, but it is a great workout in refreshing cool water. I love swimming pools. An English Unconference. Teachers in our state met and discussed a variety of issues. I came away with quite a few ideas for this fall. I am "almost" excited for school to start. (I am really glad for a few more weeks of summer! And we only bought one. Darn! A morning hike on...

Shrimp, Tomato and White Bean Stew. July 15, 2014. This one is a good dish year round. It will warm your chilled body in the winter, but has the light and fresh flavors of a summer dish as well. It may sound or look complicated, but give it a try and you will find it takes you about 30 quick minutes. It is also a good one to impress the friends with because it looks beautiful and tastes great! 1 Tsp extra virgin olive oil. 1 cups of arugula. 15 cloves of garlic. 1/2 can (15oz) diced tomatoes. Add the shr...

Thursday, April 21, 2011. Red is one of those colors that I tend to shy away from just because I think it's so bright. I need to stop that. The perfect amount of red is bold but not annoying. Also, apologies in advance that this is our first post in like a month (and it's just a bunch of pictures I had saved on my computer), we suck. For image sources, visit www.tineye.com.
