My Journey through the Paradox of Photography. This was not a photo that I had pre-planned. I was attending a workshop in a fantastic old building in Philadelphia, and during a break I found this very old elevator. The only light in the hallway came from the interior of the elevator car. It cast very interesting shadows on the floor that seemed to just intensify the aged feeling of the building’s lift. It is world-renowned for its horticultural displays, and is filled with color indoors and out.
