We spent President's Day Weekend in Elkin with the Batusic family and drove back just in time on Monday to get home before the ice storm hit. We were so grateful that we had power throughout the week (we only lost it for an hour in the middle of the night) as many were without power for up to 4 days! Sunday, June 29, 2014. With all of the changes lately, we weren't sure if we were going to be able to make a trip home this summer.thankfully, we were able to make it happen! Dinner with the gang and hanging out with the BEST MIMI EVER! Monkey Jungle is always so much fun! The kids loved feeding the monkeys raisins and watching the gorilla show. Catching a baby peacock, swinging, jumping on the trampoline, hunting with Uncle Phil, lots of lizards, and celebrating Aunt Erica's birthday! Anna Elise - 4.

Friday, October 24, 2014. The girls love to paint - so this year we decided to let them paint their pumpkins instead of carve them (and it was a whole lot easier! Monday, October 6, 2014. Last weekend we went to NC to visit Aunt Ma, Uncle John and all of our cousins! I took Friday off of work so we headed up on Thursday after work-the girls were so excited to get there. We spent Friday morning hanging out at the house while the boys had school then went to Stone Mountain State Park for hiking and lunch.
