Friday, May 30, 2014. Santa Fe, NM. Friends of our trekked down to Santa Fe, NM last year and came back with nothing but rave reviews. So we thought it'd be a fun mini-trip over Memorial Day weekend. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. While Seth was in town for the weekend we did two excellent hikes with him! Our opener was at Betasso Loop above Boulder. It was a 3.5mi trail with lots of gullies and hills, a few stream crossings and spectacular foothills views. For the first mile and a half Wes and Seth were jogging! Saturday, September 27, 2014. Van and his Ravens teammates celebrated a WIN at their first game of the season! Van played offence for the entire first half, and defense for most of the second half where he made a good "tackle" against the Buccaneers. So on the Eve of New Years Eve (when Colleen and I would traditionally celebrate) I am reflecting on the past 364 days. I give you my list. One Saturday in the fall we took the kids to the Egyptian museum in San Jose. It was really fun, interesting and a great photo op! The kids thought the mummies were awesome- especially Eli who finds goblins, monsters, and mummies very fascinating. We love these moments of watching our children have pure joy and fun together!
