Sunday, April 15, 2012. Goes down slides by himself now! Took a while but he got the hang of it! Will throw things in the sink when we ask him too! Yay Along with the trash and the closet. Awesome. But he had a little problem following directions such as pick up your trash or don't spit out your milk but it seems to have improved. I just ask if he wants to go in time out and he usually stops, though not always. Can also finally climb up onto the couch generally on his own! He must have grown an inch!

He. Loves to be on our shoulders - will pat my head to tell me he wants up there. When he gets in trouble he puts the backs of his hands up to his eyes to hide. Has done this for months actually. He’s in pre-K this year. Next fall he’ll start kindergarten. In the mean time, he’s hard at work learning to read and write, add and subtract and tie his shoes. Being numb is easier than feeling. I sit and marvel at him. How did we get so. Noah and I actually witnessed it, and no, it is not like you see on tv, bodies violently convulsing with the shock. Our friends the Rainer's joined us in their own hunt and we set out for Noah's hidey-hole of suitable trees. Blue bird skies, lord I want to go skiing or snowboarding. The little ones get rides. However, this was after he fell asleep in the stall all afternoon and we thought he was drowsy. My groan in the background was at him for being a &@#%@$ - she did a fantastic job of gathering him.
