Cut all the vegetables (you may add any vegetables you have, you do not have to cup the vegetables unless they do not fit into a pot). Smash garlic cloves with the side of a large knife to break them up. Place the vegetables into boiling water. Add the herbs (the amount and types of herbs is up to you). Bring to boil, lower the heat and simmer uncovered for approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Monday, September 27, 2010. 1 boneless whole pork loin roast (2-2.5 kg). 1/2 kg chopped cabbage. 1/2 tablespoon fennel seeds. 1/2 liter vegetable broth. Vegetable oil or 100 g smoked bacon. Cut the onion into rings. In a deep pan warm vegetable oil and fry onions until transparent. Instead of vegetable oil you can use smoked bacon - warm the pan, add bacon to the pan and fry, then add onion rings. Add pork loin, fry on all sides until golden (keep stirring onions while you frying the pork).

Hopefully this sauce will be a great addition to your Thanksgiving. 4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries. Optional: orange zest, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, raisins. Wash and pick over cranberries. I do not have a photo of cooked pie, because the day I baked it we had some friends over, hence I absolutely forgot to take a picture.sorry :). 500g any kind of berries ( in my case I had different frozen, as I am more likely to eat fresh berries and not to bake). 4 tablespoons cold water. 2 tablespoons of milk. When dough is ready form a ball, cover and place in a fridge for minimum one hour.

Thursday, September 16, 2010. 15 cups cooking oats. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 teaspoons baking powder or 1 teaspoon baking soda vinegar. Combine softened butter and sugar. Add 2 eggs and vanilla extract - mix everything well. Add cooking oats - mix well. At this point add baking powder, flour, and raisins - continue mixing.
