The Pink Paddler: March 2012
http://pinkpaddling.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 28, 2012. I did something to my shoulder the other day. Not doing anything extreme, but playing tennis. I think it has to do with all my shots having to be winners and not warming up. Anyway, being sensible in my old age, as it didn't get better, I thought I should get it checked out. What do ya know - the physio I saw was smokin hot! This is the first time I have ever been attended to by someone attractive. In fact I was all flustered and didn't know what to say! And managed a day in London for a few parting gestures. June 24, 2012 at 4:17 AM. June 24, 2012 at 5:10 AM. June 24, 2012 at 5:56 AM. I sympathise with you...

The Pink Paddler: May 2012
http://pinkpaddling.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 13, 2012. I thought I would join the bone marrow registry. Of course, I am not sure why I thought I would be allowed to. As a foreigner from the UK I am not allowed to give blood here as I may have mad cows disease. The same applies to be on the bone marrow registry. However, if you are kiwi and are not a mad cow (not sure how you know this - I have met quite a few mad kiwis) and you want to potentially save a life here is the website: New Zealand Bone Marrow Registry. The Pink Paddler: July 2012
http://pinkpaddling.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 21, 2012. I know that NLHS is getting a visit from ERO some time soon. They came to us last term. During their visit they were waxing lyrical about all the wonderful things we do, etc, etc. However, it seems in their report (to be given to us on Monday) they have only picked up on the one (or maybe 2) bad things - and I say bad in the sense of we didn't dot one I or cross one t. I am sure they will have said some ok stuff, but really, does the paperwork make the school?

Nicola's Supermarket Bag
http://supermarketbag.blogspot.com/2011/10/last-sunday-week-ago-now-i-was.html
Sunday, October 9, 2011. Rumour is that Banksy was visiting town about a year ago for local artist Ben Eine's (see below) fortieth birthday. Note the cat stencil on the left hand side of the wall. There seems to be a mysterious animal stencillor in town. Moths have also been turning up around town over the last year, these ones are by a group called zeroh who have conducted the Hastings Moth Project. So there you go. October 9, 2011 at 11:42 PM. Nicola's Supermarket Bag: December 2011
http://supermarketbag.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 15, 2011. Secondly, this blog/tumblr thing. Nick Clegg is the leader of the Liberal Democrats, a party that had a conscience until they went into coalition with the Conservatives after last years elections- a sort of pact with the devil if I was honest. This is a nice little parody, and quite clever. I love a good mix of pop culture and high culture- so Feminist Ryan Gosling. Fits the bill nicely. Thursday, December 8, 2011. And that is what I got paid to do today. Days off, birthdays ...

Nicola's Supermarket Bag: July 2011
http://supermarketbag.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 18, 2011. Monday's Bucket of Reflections. St Swithin's Day, if it does rain. Full forty days, it will remain. St Swithin's Day, if it be fair. For forty days, t'will rain nae mair. But nine years after his wish was granted, some stuck up old monks moved his body and a dry summer was followed by 40 days of storm. There is some meteorological basis for this. And the Met Office thinks it especially will ring true. This year. School breaks up for summer in two and a half days. You would have to ...

Nicola's Supermarket Bag: Deportable Me?
http://supermarketbag.blogspot.com/2012/06/deportable-me.html
Monday, June 18, 2012. I'm being deported from the UK. At last I am a bonafide rebel. I fly out in 48hours. Mr B, the Englishman with whom I am shacked up with, is following me out in a month or two. It seemed as good an excuse as any to do two things. 1) hold a Deportation Party (done). 2) re-start this here blog about coming back to New Zealand (doing). But it will start with this brief post as there are boxes to pack, friends to see, CVs to tweak, and bank accounts to shut down. What will she do now.
