Tuesday, June 8, 2010. We have had a very busy May around the Conkey. The days have been filled with school activities, BBQ's. Friends' birthday parties, soccer for Ian, swim lessons for the girls, dance practices, recitals, preschool graduation and camping! I am tired just writing all of it! A few weeks ago the girls had their dance recital. Kaelyn. Danced in 4 numbers and Sami. Danced in 3. I am happy to report that everybody danced in all of their dances! Of course, wanted to be a beautiful ballerina!

Monday, March 30, 2009. Well, things have been pretty quiet around the Conkey. House the last few weeks and that is a good thing! So, I decided to take this opportunity to share with you a little bit about one of my hobbies. I love to make cards. The whole process for me to make "one" card is usually a long one. Friday, February 26, 2010. A Most Magical Vacation. We have been planning our 1st trip to Disney for many months. We felt that the kids were at perfect ages to enjoy all that Disney had to offer. We had been saving our Disney Rewards (from our credit card) for years now and had accumulated enough points to pay for 4 days at the parks. It was time to make the trip. Monday, July 27, 2009. 2 weekends ago we were able to go down to Springboro, OH (just south of Dayton) to visit Brolan's sister and family. The kids have been begging and begging to see their favorite cousins, Parker and Avery. Everybody gets along so great and they love spending time together. This year Sami was finally old enough to be "included" with Kaelyn and Avery. Here is a picture of the gang. We had a wonderful and relaxing time with our family! Monday, July 20, 2009. Monday, August 31, 2009. Brolan was so happy that he was grinning from ear to ear! It rained on Friday night so it was nice to have a place for the kids to play. Here is a picture of Ian and I on the ride (we are somewhere in there). Here is a picture of Ian after riding the Iron Dragon twice! We were proud of him for giving it a try! Tuesday, January 19, 2010. This past weekend Ian participated in the 2010 Marlin Invitational. It is an annual swim meet hosted by our swim team. The Marlins hosted 8 YMCA swim teams from all over the Metro Detroit area for this 2 day event. This is the only meet all year that Ian swims both Saturday and Sunday. He swam in a total of 2 relays and 8 individual events over the 2 days. Brolan. Now owes him $16! Every single event Ian swam in he beat his PR! We were so proud of him! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
