Friday, 30 November 2007. The hotel beds were so comfortable, thank-God because I needed some proper sleep. Also great shower and breakfast offered. We're were off at 8am to hit the Xmas markets in a few different towns. We're staying in Trier, the oldest city in Germany. Our first place to visit was Koblenz, about an hour away. Friday, 29 February 2008. Dad actually gets to celebrate a proper birthday this year and is doing it on the slopes of Marble Mountain, NL. Sweet deal. As I suspected requesting a swedish (deep tissue) massage at a spa isn't quite the massage I needed. I had to tell the girl not to be shy and then again ask her to push harder. I think she was afraid of hurting me, but that's what I wanted. No paid, no gain. However, it was nice just to be pampered. Can never go wrong with that. Thursday, 28 February 2008.

Dale, Anne, Sarah and Margot's adventures. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. A visit to the park and a first haircut. Although we have a little slide in the backyard it doesn't compare to the 'slide' (her term for the playground). Here are a few pictures of Sarah at her favourite place - the park up the road from our house. Sarah likes to do circles around objects like poles, trees, etc. I think she likes the dizzy feeling. . Sarah has an imaginary friend named Ella and Ella loves being pushed in the swing.

Dale, Anne, Sarah and Margot's adventures. Monday, January 11, 2010. Sarah's birthday and Hallowe'en. Sarah had a pirate themed party this year - to celebrate the fact that she's wearing a patch. We had 6 of her friends here and we made a pirate hat and decorated it, had a treasure hunt and played some games. Pirate cake. I was trying for blue-ish water but it just didn't work out. So we went with green.more Caribbean-like anyway. Sarah and her stack of presents. What a lucky girl! 3 Arndts and a Gardam.

Friday, 16 April 2010. I feel like a new woman! So what does today bring? It takes me over an hour and 4 tube rides to get to where I want to go rather than 20 mins and 2 tube rides. The disturbing thing was the announcements at the tube stations stating a person is under a train! I know now why I take the tube - traffic doesn't slow it down! Way too many people for my liking! Sunday, 18 April 2010. Train Back to Cornwall. Last night it was confirmed my flight back to Cornwall wasn't happening. UK airspace was still closed. I booked an early ticket on the train and was on my way at 8am this morning. Just my luck - I always travel to London via train and this was the first time I flew!
