It’s not just paper: A farewell to Fast Forward. Posted by Peter Hemminger. On March 5, 2015 · Leave a Comment. Image by Drew Anderson. It’s a strange fact that physical things are now a niche. Books, records, magazines and alt-weeklies are all just so much clutter given the convenience of digital. Compare a board game to an iPhone app, never mind a next-gen console game; it’s hopelessly clunky and anachronistic by comparison. While this paper is still on the stands, though, I want to thank. Newer posts →. Past-time, not a sport. July 29, 2011. It occurred to me tonight that baseball is the only “sport” where the players could reasonably be asked to play two back-to-back games and it’s not a big deal. There are no double headers in hockey, basketball, or football. That probably says something about the exertion required for baseball (and the lack of a physical toll on the body), and perhaps also explains why baseball beer leagues work so well. It’s difficult to take the sport seriously.

Past-time, not a sport. August 26, 2011. 2 Was packing for a weekend trip today and could not find my travel hair dryer. Had recently taken it on another trip and was worried I’d left it in a train station (my hair was wet from being rained on). After searching every possible place, I found it in an overnight bag. But tonight, while trying to figure out directions to the conservatory from downtown, I got frustrated with the sheer cluelessness of the city planning. It’s simple. All I wanted to figure out was how to get from the Grandin LRT station to the Muttart Conservatory. The following factors became obstacles:. 1 No car. Transit and walking only.

Shadows are the shiz.
Shadows are the shiz. Tuesday, April 1, 2008. Holmes is so terribly easy, it makes me sad a little bit.
