your inner water fowl… | The Continuing Journey
https://thecontinuingjourney.wordpress.com/2009/05/27/your-inner-water-fowl
One traveler’s ramblings on life and other philosophical mumbo-jumbo. May 27, 2009. Your inner water fowl…. By the time I got home yesterday it had been raining pretty consistently for about five hours. The kind of rain that comes in waves and doesn’t allow you the opportunity to duck for cover because it seems to zig when you go to zag. I generally don’t mind it. Growing up in New Orleans. Face it and embrace it folks! Embrace the inner water fowl inside you! Posted in Musings on Life. On June 25, 2009.
I could have had a child… | The Continuing Journey

One traveler’s ramblings on life and other philosophical mumbo-jumbo. April 21, 2009. I could have had a child…. 8221; Catherine called and asked what my ETA was and I announced proudly, “I think I am actually going to make it to the gym, I mean I am really doing this.” She congratulated me, although she sounded a little disappointed that I wasn’t going to be able to give her a foot massage because she was going to crash. All in all I would say it went well? Posted in Musings on Life. Follow me on Twitter.

One traveler’s ramblings on life and other philosophical mumbo-jumbo. July 14, 2008. After more than twenty years of struggling with my weight I am finally leaping off of the diving board head first into the deep end. On July 16, 2008 I am having gastric bypass surgery. I have spent the last three years fighting with medical complications that have worked against my trying to lose weight in “traditional sense”. I’m supposed to be really excited about this, right? So how do you adjust? Fill in your detail...

Möbius Strip? | The Continuing Journey
https://thecontinuingjourney.wordpress.com/2009/07/01/mobius-strip
One traveler’s ramblings on life and other philosophical mumbo-jumbo. July 1, 2009. Where the hell has this year gone? For that matter where the hell have the last thirty-five gone? I remember the years before I graduated high school feeling like they were going to drag on for an eternity. The ironic thing is as much I say I wouldn’t want to experience those years again I seem to find myself wishing for the simplicity of childhood more and more these days. I recently finished Michael Moorcock’s,. I’...

So for now they will wait until a later date to be taken. Posted by Battle of Life. View my complete profile.

Gastric-Bypass Adventure: November 2009
http://stephaniel26.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 29, 2009. Day 1 in hospital - Surgery Day. I'll make this as brief as possible after all, I was in the hospital for 7 full days. I was taken to a room where my bed (little did i know i'd be on for 7 days) was at. I was to get undressed, put all my clothes, shoes and undergarments into this plastic see-through bag thing that they would keep with me under my bed in a holder thing. Dr Felix showed up and I verified once more that HE would be my surgeon. He agreed and said "of course it'...

The Continuing Adventures of Jesus. Picking up where the Bible left off for more than a decade. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. WELCOME TO NEW WHORELEANS. Jesus was enjoying the Mardi Gras festivities at New Whoreleans, the trendy new whore house in Kansas City Missouri, with his friend, Alligator Steve. Alligator Steve was neitgher an alligator nor named Steve, but he did have terrible eczema. His name was Santiago, but it wasn't a good idea to be Mexican in Kansas City, so he went by Steve. Finally, the ma...

The Continuing Adventures of Wonder Girl and Speck of Dust
Saturday, July 6, 2013. This is a late-posting update that I started a month ago (since Louisa is just about 10 months old now). There are things that are out-of-date that I'm not changing because this is my version of a baby book. I'm trying to keep things as we knew them to be at the time (if that makes any sense.).* *. Weight: 16 pounds, 6 oz. To give you a comparison, this is about what Alice weighed at 6 months old. Clothing size: 3-6 months, still. The other big milestone is that we moved Louisa to...
