Medium size onion (cut into strips). Tbsp very finely chopped onion (or crushed in food processor, see below). Tbsp very finely chopped green pepper (or crushed in food processor, see below). Small garlic cloves (finely chopped or smashed). Tsp finely chopped cilantro (or substitute last 4 ingredients for 4 Tbsp sofrifo, see below).

Cup green peppers (finely chopped ). Cupyellow onion (finely chopped ). Cup pimento stuffed olives (sliced). Garlic cloves (finely chopped). Cup fresh cilantro (leaves only, chopped). Salt and Pepper (as explained below). Olive oil (as explained below). Now add the tomato sauce and saute for a few seconds.
