In 1970 a neighbor ordered a pair of sandals for $27.50. I thought my ship had come in. I made a lot of sandals for the beach combers, and then my wife and kids. And we moved to Kentucky—so I made boots and moccasins to keep their feet warm in the snow. 931 255 0565 [cell].

I meet a lot of my customers at renaissance festivals, craft fairs, Revolutionary War re-enactments, and what not. If you don’t live around the Crossville area—and you can’t make a trip to the beautiful Tennessee plateau—maybe we’ll run into each other nonetheless. My specialty is making period-correct footwear from the eighteenth century. But, if you’re into laces instead of brass buckles, I can make just about any shoe that fits your fancy. And fits your foot. That’s because all the shoes I make are ‘bespoke’. Meaning that they’re spoken for by an individual with two very individual feet. I don’t sell my shoes over the internet, because I actually need to spend some time with your feet before I get started. You can see images of my work in the gallery.
