She was so tiny in the car seat and weighted not quite 7lbs, she was swallowed in her newborn outfit and looked so fragile. She was and still is absolutely perfect. This weekend we finally switched to her convertible car seat. You can technically keep your little one in the infant car seat we had until 35lbs, who I wonder would even want to lug a 35lb baby around I don't know! Sowe upgraded and now she looks like this:.

The Call to Foster Care. Sunday, October 30, 2011. I happen to be a part of a group of 7 sweet ladies. Our meetings might look to some as chance encounters, but I believe we were brought together by a higher power. We’ve named ourselves the “Blessed Suckers”…blessed by the children, suckered in by DHS! Within our group of 7, we have 31 children total. 19 of those children were adopted through DHS. These ladies and I meet once a month for dinner. We have been doing this faithfully for almost 5 years.

Sunday, September 9, 2012. Back to School 2012. James started Kindergarten on August 23rd. So far so good! He is going to Hobgood Academy in Hobgood, NC where Gray went to school. He has a tiny class only 7 kids (2 girls and 5 boys). His favorite thing about Kindergarten he says is playing outside :) The new schedule and waking up so early has been a huge adjustment for us, especially Miller, but were slowly getting the hang of it. So proud of his shark gear! James talks about them both all the time!
