A few days ago I found a tiny baby bird in my garage. TINY! We were once tucked safely away with our Heavenly Father and Mother. Until we fell from our heavenly home and were blown into an inhospitable world. Do we lay down and accept the inevitable? Do we spiritually, mentally, or emotionally give up and die? And how much faster will he save?

Thursday, September 23, 2010. A weekend at the cabin! We headed to our family cabin over the weekend which is way up in the mountains above Park City. It was so nice to be up there and away from everything. And the kids had a blast. We had a close encounter with the wild life the first night up there when Alex and Allie were almost run over by three stampeding deer! Of course the first order of business when at the cabin is to go fishing! Alex was in heaven! He ended up catching 6 fish and keeping 3.

Friday, March 25, 2011. Recently Allie has discovered her unique fashion. In fact she has become very opinionated about her outfits, coordinating shoes, hats, sunglasses, purses, hair styles and jackets (when applicable :). I don't know about all of you, but I love her colorful, "Fancy Nancy" inspired combos! This is all her, by the way. She will ask me if something matches and I'll tell her to see if she can find that color on any of the other pieces she's picked. She does the rest! What a cutie, huh!

Friday, August 27, 2010. Hi it's me, Miah! I sure am growing up (it makes Mommy a little sad that I'm getting so big) in fact I went to the doctor yesterday for my 4 month appointment, even though I'm actually 4 1/2 months. She said that I weighed 16 lbs. 4 oz. (89%) and that I am 26 inches tall (92%) But Mommy and Daddy always say that they love this chubby baby. Who wouldn't? It doesn't make me happy when I'm gassy though (which still happens a lot). It even makes Mommy fussy! Thursday, August 12, 2010.
