A day in the life. This is what's going on from day to day with "He" "Me" and "She". We decided to check out the fall family social - again. We went last year, and I was hoping that this year, there might be some new fun things, but as it turns out - NOPE. Just the same as last year, but Kaitlyn had a great time, so I guess. That's all that matters! We scurried through the activities and headed home for some homemade green chili (my bestest batch. The bumpy shot - almost perfect. He LIVES for this stuff!

Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Well, here we go. Can you believe it? This was my attempt to get a cute pic in front of the tree to send for our christmas cards, did not work out as I had planned. Little Miss Attitude never quite cooperates when I want her to! A trip to Mcdonalds with Micah. Christmas time, Colston loves his farm animals! Wednesday, February 27. Kate told me one day she wanted to cut her hair off. just out of the blue. i made her sit on it for the whole day and then that night, took her into the bathroom to get the scissors and ponytails and at that moment, she changed her mind. no harm, no foul. i was glad she was making her own choices about it. A few months later, she did the same thing. she spent all morning talking about how she wanted to cut her hair. we went through the same routine - "are you sure? Such a beauty :).

Saturday, March 30. The girls really look forward to coloring eggs all spring, this time miles is checking it out :). We tried a few different things, starting with an online recipe i used last year for food color dye. it works well, gives really pretty colors and hues. the whole white crayon thing, however, does not work out so well. we'll try something else next year!
