http://flowinternational.blogspot.com/2008/10/las-glorias-sinaloa-mexico.html
Meet the Coult Family. Las Glorias, Sinaloa, Mexico. Las Glorias, Sinaloa, is a small, beachfront community located about a kilometer (half a mile) west of Boca del Rio and about 30 miles southwest of Guasave. Situated directly on the Sea of Cortez, it is primarily a resort community. Only about 13 families live in the village year round, but the population swells to more than 100,000 during the week of semana santa (Holy Week). There is a very strong sense of community in Las Glorias. Most of the fa...

Meet the Coult Family. Dreaming Big - Nueva Esperanza. Las Glorias Centro de Convivio Nueva Esperanza. In English, one would call it “New Hope Fellowship Center”. 8220;Wouldn’t it be neat,” we dreamed, “to have a big room where we could set up the pool table and the air hockey table at the same time? 8221; We envisioned community movie nights, hosting youth events and retreats and being available to house mission teams from around the world. Although the kids never seem to mind cramped quarters or shuttl...

FLOW international: Taking the First Step
http://flowinternational.blogspot.com/2008/11/taking-first-step.html
Meet the Coult Family. Taking the First Step. In case you're thinking that you couldn't possibly become a missionary, because missionaries obviously "have it all together" and just "know" the will of God in their lives, allow me to introduce you to two missionaries who - even after severe persecution for their faith and several years on the "mission field" - didn't quite have it all figured out. The Bible doesn't say that these apostles were necessarily doing anything. How many of us have heard sermons a...

Beautiful Feet: The Optomist and the Realist
http://whatbeautifulfeetyouhave.blogspot.com/2012/04/life-in-less-than-perfect-world.html
Saturday, April 28, 2012. The Optomist and the Realist. Alfredo was confident, though, so we charged ahead. Something about angels and fools and rushing? I was very optimistic, but not ridiculously so. After all, I was not imagining this. I was simply looking forward to having paintable walls, a downstairs bathroom with a door, a sink which drained. Simple things. Sarah, always the one with her feet firmly planted on tierra firma, told me to picture something more like this. But now, the end is in sight!

Beautiful Feet: Empanadas
http://whatbeautifulfeetyouhave.blogspot.com/2008/08/empanadas.html
Friday, August 08, 2008. Well, I said I wasn’t going to post many recipes on this blog, but when someone asks, it's my pleasure to oblige! Recipes are a lot more fun if you can post photos, too, so here are some photos of my new friends Gail and Nancy making empanadas at our house. Gail’s husband, Rick, was in charge of making scrambled eggs for the gang that morning. Has anyone out there ever made scrambled eggs for 30? Well, he did a great job! Here’s the recipe:. 1 tbsp baking powder. Note: Add the 5 ...

Beautiful Feet: Elephants and Mayhem
http://whatbeautifulfeetyouhave.blogspot.com/2012/05/so-today-i-was-reading-couple-of-news.html
Thursday, May 03, 2012. So, today I was reading a couple of news articles regarding the violence in Sinaloa. Very little was said in the article about what really. Links to other newsy tidbits from around the world were attached to the articles I was reading. Some intriguing, some not so much. A music video was banned from YouTube. I'm not going to waste my bandwidth to watch it. I'm sure the world won't miss hearing my opinion on it. I know I won't suffer for not having seen it. But I wonder what would ...

Beautiful Feet: May 2008
http://whatbeautifulfeetyouhave.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 29, 2008. Ok So I ran across a really neat give-away at a really neat site of a mom who, quite possibly, is busier than I am. Actually, I think she is busier than I. And also, perhaps, busier than I. 10 years ago. Hats off to Christine who has six kids under 7 and whose oldest two are twins. I often said that if I'd had twins first, I might not have continued to the next and most probably wouldn't have had 4 more! This woman's a trooper! They sent me a brand new swing! About two weeks ago, ...
