Friday, August 2, 2013. Fabric, Classes and Quilt Shows! It’s been a busy couple of months and time has flown by since the Quilt BC show in Penticton last May. I've been neglecting my blog for far too long so its time for a quick update from Summerland. Its tourist season here in the Okanagan valley and we've been excited to welcome visitors from across Canada and the US, as well as overseas from Scotland, England, Australia, Belgium and the Netherlands! What a fabulous place - its so hard to resist!

Thursday, November 8, 2012. The window paper is down, the windows have been cleaned and the door is now open! After two months of hectic activity, a lot of anxiety, and long hours of help from Sam, Marilyn and Gary we opened the doors without fanfare Wednesday afternoon. And, we even had a few walk in customers. Paper down and windows cleaned! Windex - for those Final touches. There is still a lot to do to get ready for our Grand Opening on Saturday Nov 10th, but we made it! November 8, 2012 at 5:59 PM.

Saturday, November 23, 2013. DIY Rabbit Wood Nest Box. Making wood nest boxes for your rabbits is both cheap and easy. I love that I can make these however I want. I actually prefer not having a top on it, my rabbits seem to like it better too.
