May 25, 2015. Happy #9 ava roo! It's here. Ava's turning nine today. Her last year before double digits. I'm not ready. She's growing up too fast, but what a beauty she's becoming! Last night as sweet number eight. She found this Frozen cereal back in January and thought we'd better get it because it is a limited edition. Just in case. One of my favorite things is watching the kids open gifts from each other. The best! Now off to lunch at Red Robin (her choice).singing and all! 1st day of school.

May 23, 2015. This year Brian was able to take Noah, freshly turned 7 years old, to the WA Open final round. Noah was very excited to watch daddy play in a tournament. I was a tiny bit worried he wouldn't be able to contain his energy for 18 holes. Brian, however, said he was a champ! Noah can't wait to "caddy" for dad again. Friday, May 29, 2015. Lucy is still pretty uncertain about walking on uneven surfaces. She was all about getting into the water! I suppose it's a right of passage. As parents no matter how hard we try: children, if given the chance, will. Eat sand.and rocks.and seaweed. I suppose that's what gave us our great immune systems. So as we continue to try to avoid letting her straight up munch sand, the occasional sampling isn't going to hurt her! Sand, sand everywhere! This is disgusting, mom! Feet, feet, feet.
